Our In Their Name Funds are a place where families can come together to support and honour a child or young person who has been affected by cancer. By setting up your own personalised fund you will be able to raise money to support other young people and families facing cancer, all in the name of your superstar.

Through your fund page your amazing community of family, friends and community can leave messages of support, share a memory, donate money directly or create their own online fundraising page to contribute towards the fund’s total. All the donations received through the fund page will be kept together as a collective total.
With the support of your local Young Lives vs Cancer Fundraising Engagement Manager you can build your personalised fund to really reflect the young person it is named after and fundraise in whichever way best suits you and your community. There is no set fundraising target, every penny and pound raised in their name will go towards helping families find the strength to face everything cancer throws at them.

Why should I set up a In Their Name Fund?
Our In Their Name Funds are an amazing way for your lovely network of family, friends and local community to show their support of a child or young person with cancer - your superstar - and to raise money in their name. All the donations received through your personalised fund will be kept together as a collective total, along with messages from everyone who has come together to celebrate and support them. The money raised will go towards helping families find the strength to face everything cancer throws at them.
How do I set up a In Their Name Fund?
To set up an In Their Name Fund, simply click the “set up a fund” button. Simply fill out the form and your local Fundraising Engagement Manager will be in touch. Your Fundraising Engagement Manager will talk to your about your superstar, what makes them unique and ask you to share some photos with them to make the page a special place.

Can I personalise my fund page?
Of course. An In Their Name Fund is a special place for you to personalise and make it unique to your superstar. Once you have decided to set up a fund, your local Fundraising Engagement Manager will be in touch to talk through your ideas on how to make your fund an amazing place where people can raise money in support of your child or young person affected by cancer.

How do I donate to a particular Special Named Fund?
If you know someone has set up a fund in support of their superstar, then simply click “search for a fund”. Here you can either type their name in the search bar, or scroll through the photos to find your loved one. Once on their page you can click “Give now” and a donation will be made directly to your loved ones fund.
Can I raise money for a particular fund?
Of course. Our In Their Name Funds are special places where communities get together to support a children or young person with cancer in the local community. If you would like to fundraise click, open a fundraising page. JustGiving will then walk you through how to set a page up. Once set up, share this page with your community to start fundraising. Any money raised will be automatically added to your selected funds fundraising total.
What will my money from a fund go towards?
At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face everything cancer throws at them. We know everyone's different, so we work hard to provide support that’s easy to access and meets individual needs. All the money raised via our funds programme will go directly towards helping children, young people and their families get the vital support they need through a young persons cancer diagnosis, treatment and beyond.
