Our Story
In March 2023 Ollie was diagnosed with Leukaemia, aged just 4 years old. He is currently facing treatment at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children.
Young Lives vs Cancer fund Social Workers like Sadie in Bristol, who provide psychosocial support to the whole family after a cancer diagnosis.
They also fund Homes from Home, which are free accommodation for families to stay in close by to their treatment centre, which can be far from home. CLIC House is one of their Bristol Homes. From ordering pizza, to having heart-felt phone calls in privacy, to sleeping in a warm comfortable bed, our Homes from Home are a place for families to be together outside of the sights, sounds, and smells of Hospital.
