Leo started to have abdominal discomfort in March 2022. After seeking medical advice from his GPs on several occasions, he was told he had nothing more than constipation and was only prescribed some laxatives.

His mum Kyoko was visiting Leo last summer at the end of July. She was utterly shocked to see that Leo had lost so much weight and so rushed him into A&E where they took a blood test and then a CT scan which confirmed he had colon cancer which had already spread to his liver.

Unfortunately it was too late for Leo to receive any treatment and he sadly passed away within 3 weeks at a hospice where he wanted to spend the rest of his life.

Kyoko is now raising funds and awareness following this tragedy.
